The week that was (issue 1)

 
 We had a busy week here last week working on a wide range of cool cars, and finishing off one of the vehicles that stayed here over the Christmas break.
This Immaculate Ferrari 308 came in for a suspension restoration. We replaced every bush in the car, rebuilt the steering rack, the shock-absorbers, and then re painted to give it the factory fresh look.

Heasman Steering x Bilstein : World Time Attack Challenge 2014.

 

 

It’s 2am on Thursday morning. The Heasmans S14 was a midnight late addition to Tune House’s Dyno schedule. With Jim’s expert touch, the Heasman’s S14 produced maximum power (380kw) at the safest levels given it was a freshly built engine. Check out Heasmans Road to World Time Attack 2014 here.

The Road to WTAC ’14

 

Driver safety is first and foremost for any good race team so the decision was made to install an on-board fire suppression system.

 

The system is plumbed through the car with nozzles in the cabin and engine bay. While the system comes with a small weight penalty over a traditional extinguisher it will be much more effective in the event of a fire.

Testing the WTAC S14 at Wakefield
